Cover Supervisor

St Columba's Catholic Boys' School is looking to appoint Cover Supervisor in January 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. You will possess excellent oral and written communication, and will ideally have some experience of working with students in a secondary school. The post involves facilitating the work set for students by their class teacher/ department when absent. The Cover Supervisor is expected to ensure students remain on task and complete their work during classes as well as attend form times.

Examinations Invigilators

We are looking to appoint Examination Invigilators to oversee our examinations. You would need to have good availability during November, February into March and May into June. Invigilators play a vital role in the smooth running of examinations and we are seeking candidates who are reliable, punctual, who can follow instructions (as laid down by Exam Boards and the School), work under pressure and can relate to and motivate students.

Cleaner

We are looking to appoint a number of committed and reliable cleaners to join our Premises team at St Columba’s.

The role involves cleaning the school. The role would suit someone who takes pride in keeping their sections clean with the ability to work efficiently and effectively. Experience of working to risk assessments and with chemicals and PPE would be advantageous as Health & Safety is a key aspect of the role. Full training will be given.
